Connie Coleman and Alan Powell have collaborated in the electronic arts since the late 1970s.

Their work encompasses single channel videotapes, sculptural multi-channel electronic installations, digital photography and electronic printmaking.

Coleman holds undergraduate and graduate degrees from the Rhode Island School of Design and is a Professor at the University of the Arts in Philadelphia where she teaches Computer Animation.

Powell holds a BFA from Rhode Island School of Design and an MFA from Rutgers University. He was a founding member of the Electron Movers in Providence, RI, Rhode Island's first Media Arts Center. He is an Associate Professor in the Film/Media Arts Department at Temple University.

Coleman and Powell's work has been shown at The Kitchen, The Alternative Museum, and The Museum of the Moving Image in New York; the Philadelphia Museum of Art; The Long Beach Museum in California; the Musee d'Arte Moderne in Paris; and has been broadcast on Swiss and Danish television, the Learning Channel, and PBS.
