Shelley Jackson is the author of the short story collection The Melancholy of Anatomy (Anchor 2002), the groundbreaking hypertext novel Patchwork Girl (Eastgate 1995) and other electronic media works, and several children's books with her own illustrations. Her writing has appeared in many journals including The Paris Review, Grand Street, Conjunctions, Fence, and the Mississippi Review, and has won a Pushcart Prize; art projects have appeared in Cabinet Magazine and many exhibitions and conferences devoted to new media art. The Doll Games, a multimedia project, is a collaboration with her sister Pamela Jackson.
