He has created impressionistic, journey-oriented films and issue-driven documentaries. His work has been featured at the Human Rights Watch International Film Festival, Chicago Underground Film Festival, The United Nations African Issues Screening Series, and the Margaret Mead Film and Video Festival. A multi-instrumentalist, he plays upright bass in the Minneapolis-based band Dark Dark Dark and banjo and upright bass in Fall Harbor, a musical collaboration with artist C. Ryder Cooley.
