Prior to Funny Garbage, she worked at America Online while attending the Whitney Independent Study Program as a Helena Rubinstein Critical Studies Fellow. Rachel was Editor at Rhizome.org from 1997 through 1999 and has written about art for publications including ArtForum, Frieze and Bomb. She was educated at the University of Pennsylvania and the University of Sussex.
