Her work is particularly concerned with humanistic issues including spiritualism, homelessness, racial violence, feminism and the relationship of humanity and technology. Committed to the integration of a thoughtful theory and practice within this new technological landscape, Nappi extensively writes and lectures on both and has held teaching positions at the School of Visual Arts, Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and New York University. 1994 to 1999, she served as a member of the Artists\u0027 Advisory Committee for the New York Foundation for the Arts, advising the Emerging Forms/ Performance category followed by the Computer Arts category for which she helped found. Nappi is currently a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Art and Art Professions, New York University and is working on her doctoral dissertation concerning Aesthetics and Computer Arts.","offset":0,"nextOffset":null,"totalCharacters":1010,"complete":true},"rightsUrl":"https://www.videohistoryproject.org/terms-service"}
