After college, Pia worked as an Analyst at JP Morgan \u0026 Co for two years. She resigned in February 2001 to pursue her interests in writing, and continues to create fresh theatre in addition to her commitment as a filmmaker. In January 2003, she created the idea for \u0022Out of Status\u0022 - a documentary film after 9/11 - with colleague Sanjna Singh in January 2003. She and Sanjna founded Chai Break Films to showcase their work.
