She graduated from Bryn Mawr College in 2000 and has worked during and after college in the film industry in Philadelphia. She has worked for the past three years at HBO Studios. She founded Chai Break Films in 2003 with fellow Bryn Mawr graduate Pia Sawhney. Their short film premiered at the International Film Festival in Rotterdam, and in the US at the Amnesty International Film Festival. They were awarded a NYSCA grant and were nominated by NAATA for ABC\u0027s Talent Development scholarship. Sanjna has studied at Bryn Mawr and ICP in New York and at Paris VII (Jussieu) and the Sp\u00E9os Institute in Paris.
