As one of Chicago\u0027s pioneer women video artists, since 1975 Barbara Sykes\u0027s award winning tapes have been shown extensively worldwide at major museums, galleries, broadcast and cable television and in exhibitions of various kinds. She was one of the featured artists in the Museum of Contemporary Art in Chicago\u0027s exhibition Art in Chicago: 1945 to 1995.
