Alan Powell

Powell works collaboratively with Connie Coleman as a video artist. Having been involved in the video art scene since the early days, he was one of the original members of the Electron Movers. He resides in Bucks County, PA.

He is also an Associate Professor of Film and Media Arts at Temple University and is Director of the Undergraduate Production Sequence in Film/Media Arts. Powell's works have been shown at The Kitchen, The Alternative Museum, The Museum of Moving Image, The Philadelphia Museum of Art, The Long Beach Museum, the Musee d'Arte Moderne in Paris, and have been broadcast on Swiss and Danish television as well as The Learning Channel and PBS in the United States.
