Alan Sondheim, identified as a writer, teacher, curator, filmmaker, musician and contemporary art theorist, served as curator of Atlanta's Nexus Contemporary Art Center beginning in 1983 for two years, taught at the University of Texas in Dallas from 1986 to 1987, and served last year as artistic director of Hallwalls Contemporary Art Center in Buffalo.
