Erik Moskowitz and Amanda Trager

Erik Moskowitz uses the relationship between cinema space and gallery space as a point of departure for installation and film. Solo installation exhibitions include: Momenta Art, Freight and Volume, Holiday (NYC) and Le Sous Salon (Paris). Festivals include: Impakt (Netherlands), Antimatter (Canada), Oberhausen (Germany), Experimenta (India), Press Play (Carnegie Mellon), Experiments in Cinema (University of New Mexico). https://www.americantrance.com/.

Amanda Trager fuses painting, sculpture, and installation with first-person prose narrative. Solo exhibitions include: Momenta Art, Annika Sundvik (NYC), Clifford-Smith Gallery (Boston), and Le Sous Salon (Paris). Group shows include: Brooklyn Museum's "Open House", NextNext Visual Art program at BAM, White Box gallery, Feature gallery (NYC). Both live and work in NYC.

She has been awarded a New York Foundation for the Arts Fellowship in Computer Arts and is currently an artist-in-residence at Harvestworks Digital Media Arts Center in New York; in the Fall 1999 she will present with Fakeshop the performance/installation multiple_dwelling at The Ars Electronica Festival.

    Deborah Stratman was Adjunct Assistant Professor of Film, Video, and New Media (1998) at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago; she holds a BFA (1990) from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and an MFA in Film/Video (1995) from the California Institute of the Arts. Her work has been exhibited at Temporary Services Gallery (Chicago), Para/Site Gallery (Hong Kong), the Latvian Museum of Foreign Art (Riga) and Smioagalleri (Reykjavik), and screened at San Francisco Cinematheque, Rotterdam, Sundance, Viennale 2002, L'Alternativa (Barcelona) and CinemaTexas. Awards and support include the Center For Land Use Interpretation (Wendover, UT), Wexner Center for the Arts (OH), Danish Film Institute Workshop (Copenhagen), Illinois Arts Council Artist's Fellowships, the Gecko Award (CinemaTexas), THAW Best of Festival and CUFF Best Experimental Film.

    Courtney Rile is an artist, curator and arts coordinator based in Syracuse, NY; her video art has been shown internationally and locally, including the first Syracuse International Film and Video Festival. In 2005 she curated the moving-images program Videohm at an upscale lounge and bar in Syracuse, presenting nearly 300 hours of international experimental film and video and VJ work; she also coordinated the exhibition Clement Greenberg In Syracuse: Then & Now at ThINC's Company Gallery that year. She is Gallery Coordinator at Delavan Art Gallery and holds an A.A. in TV/Radio/Film from Montgomery County Community College, PA, and a B.F.A. in Video Art from Syracuse University, NY.
