Greg Bowman received a BA from Cornell University College of Arts and Sciences, in Theater Arts, with advanced work in visual studies and music. He received a Masters degree from Renssalear Polytechnic Institute. He has worked as Assistant Access Coordinator, for PEGASYS Access Television Studio, Ithaca, NY. He served as Instructor in Computer Graphics, at the New York State Summer School of the Arts, at Ithaca College. He has been Producer/camera/editor for OffLine since 1990. OffLine is a cable access television series which showcases works by independent media producers and artists from around the country, in-depth feature interviews with artists in a wide variety of media, and special presentations. The show airs in over 30 cities around the country, from New York to California. Aside from production and editing work, he has extensive experiences in computer programming, and web design. His personal work is in the area of music and audio, as well as digital video, interactive and new media forms. He has received recognition for his work from Media Ithaca Regrant (New York State Council on the Arts), the New York Foundation for the Arts' Special Opportunity Stipend, the Experimental Television Center's Presentation Funds, the Upstate Media Regrant (Visual Studies Workshop), the NYSCA Technical Assistance Program and the NYSCA Electronic Media and Film Program.
