Due to New York State Council on the Arts (NYSCA) budget reductions, the Individual Artists Program begins alternate-year funding for film and media production grants. NYSCA's overall budget was reduced by 5.9 million; the Electronic Media and Film Program budget was reduced by $353,000 and Individual Artist Grants were reduced by $296,000.
