Jason Varone

Jason Varone was born in Brooklyn, New York in 1976. After moving around the country as a child, Jason returned to New York to study fine art in 1998. Experimenting with painting and video became Jason's focus. He was greatly influenced by his Professor Peter Campus while receiving his Master's Degree from New York University, which he completed in 2003.

Jason currently lives and works in Brooklyn. His work has been exhibited at Art in General in New York, The Los Angeles Museum of Contemporary Art and the Boston Center for the Arts. He received a Finishing Funds 2006 award from the Experimental Television Center. www.varonearts.org

    Jason Bernagozzi is a video and new media artist based in Rochester, NY; he uses video, sound and electronic forms to produce single-channel video and electronic media environments that explore liminal states of language, memory and perceptual experience. He received a Master of Fine Arts in Electronic Integrated Art from Alfred University in 2010. His work was exhibited nationally and internationally at the European Media Arts Festival in Osnabruk, Germany (2009), the LOOP Video Art Festival in Barcelona, Spain (2009, 2010), the Beyond/In Western NY Biennial (2010) and the Yan Gerber International Arts Festival (2nd) in Hebei Province, China (2010).

    Stephan Apicella-Hitchcock holds an MFA from Rhode Island School of Design and a BA from Hampshire College; he is Assistant Professor of Photography and Graphic Design at Fordham University and has taught at School of Visual Arts, Parsons and the School of Fine Arts in Boston. He has received awards from the Lower Manhattan Cultural Council, CEPA Gallery and Visual Studies Workshop. His work has been exhibited in White Hot, Uprising at VideoSpace Gallery, the Short Attention Span Festival and venues including CEPA Gallery, the Contemporary Museum of Baltimore and the Whitney Museum; it has been published in CEPA Journal and Artvoice.

  • William Lamson People

    William Lamson is a Brooklyn based artist working in video, photography, performance and sculpture; his work is in the collections of the Brooklyn Museum, the Dallas Museum of Art, the Museum of Fine Arts in Houston and a number of private collections. Since graduating from the Bard MFA program in 2006, his work has been shown at the Indianapolis Museum of Art, the Brooklyn Museum, Franklin Art Works in Minneapolis and the Museum of Fine Arts in Santa Fe.
