Julia D'Amico
The Highwaymen is Julia D'Amico's first documentary. D'Amico is a Florida native and first learned of The Highwaymen from a magazine article. After reading the story, she contacted the artists, introduced herself, and began making this film. Currently she is working on her second feature-length project.
In addition to her work as a documentary filmmaker, D'Amico is the Senior Vice President of Operations of a not-for-profit consultancy and labor supply company. D'Amico received a Bachelors degree with Honors in Sociology and a Masters in the Social Sciences both from the University of Chicago, and received a Masters degree in Cinema Studies from New York University. http://damicofilm.com
