Maria Venuto

Maria Venuto works primarily with video. The Tourist is concerned with isolation and alienation as experienced by a displaced German traveller. It premiered on WNET/Channel 13's REEL New York and was screened in the US and Europe.

She is the Executive Director of The Standby Program where she has worked since 1993. She has also served as Co Editor of Felix.
