Michael Mandiberg

I am an artist, web person and rogue economist who uses the Internet, Video and performance to explore subjectivity, labor, and commerce. My current work employs Firefox plug-ins and open API platforms to highlight the real environmental costs of a global economy. I live in and ride my bicycle around Brooklyn.

I teach in the Dept of Media Culture at CSI/CUNY; right now I am teaching a Web Design class focusing on Participatory Culture. --I believe in Open Source: you can find much of my code here.--> I pseudo-maintain The Calls and Opps List.
