Abstract | Stephen Beck, Don Hallock, William Roarty, William Gwin. Contribution by Don Hallock: "Video City was a very short-lived magazine largely concerning itself with video art in the San Francisco area. There was quite a bit of video art exploration going on there in 1972, but not enough to support a high-toned magazine. And, though "This City" may have been "Built on Rock and Roll," certainly there was plenty of video art work in other cities - too much to call San Francisco 'Video City.' " |
