Sarawut Chutiwongpeti is a Thai visual artist and multimedia designer who completed primary through university studies in Bangkok and received a B.F.A. in Visual Art/Photography from Chulalongkorn University (1992–1996); he undertook additional practice and research at College of Si Phraya Technics, ZKM, the University of Tokyo, Waseda University and Fukuoka Asian Art Museum and participated in a Nagoya workshop in November 2000. He worked as an artist-designer and multimedia artist-designer for private companies and Chulalongkorn University and The Gem and Jewelry Institute of Thailand; his work has been exhibited internationally and has received awards including a prize in Tomorrow Where Shall We Live? (1996) and a Gold Prize at IGDC.
