  2. Interview with Nancy Meli Walker: Jamming with The Poool and NNeng Interview

    Nancy Meli Walker, who shifted from fashion design to cast-glass sculpture integrating computer animation and live television, and Benton Bainbridge, an NYU-trained video artist with early experience in Super 8, electronics and live performance, are core members of live video-performance group The Poool alongside Angie Eng; they have performed together in and around New York City since 1993. Bainbridge co-founded the 77Hz group with Philip R. Bonner, Jonathan Giles, Eric Schefter and Michael Schell and held a residency at the Experimental Television Center in 1989; NYU acquired a Fairlight CVI in 1985. The Poool performs about once a year with largely scripted suites, while NNeng (No Eng) performs about monthly with more improvisation, including collaboration with musician Brian Moran.
