Skip Blumberg is a video artist and independent television producer who used the Sony Video Rover (reel-to-reel/b&w) in the 1960s. He participated in 1970s New York video groups, led Media Bus, Inc., and experimented with live broadcast projects such as Lanesville TV and Image Union's 1976 live coverage of the Presidential convention; his work screened at international festivals and museums, and he received grants from the National Endowment for the Arts, New York State arts agencies and the Guggenheim Foundation. Weekend in Moscow was supported by the Experimental Television Center in 1993.
