  • The Unprofessionals Chronology

    The Unprofessionals, curated by Lindsay Sampson, is a program of videos, drawings and performances by 20+ artists influenced by the films Clerks, Clockwatchers, Office Space and Slackers; it was exhibited at Cinema Borealis (Chicago), Squeaky Wheel (NY) and Garfield Artworks (PA). The interactive video screening addresses the trials and tribulations of worker weirdos and whiners and stages moments akin to shout-outs at adolescent dances; featured artists include Lindsay Sampson, Flea Batista and Torsten Zenas Burns among others. Much of the work was produced at the Experimental Television Center in Owego NY.
