Zohar Kfir

Zohar Kfir is a video artist from Tel Aviv, active in many fields ranging from sound design to video installation, exploring practices for transforming reality onto new points of view. She has shown work at Transmediale 04 (Germany), VAD Festival (Spain), Paris Underground Film Festival, FACT (Liverpool), NY Underground Film Festival and V Scape (Israel), and in Smack Mellon Gallery, Galapagos Art Space, ICA Center for the Arts and Video Lounge.

Kunst/Medien Interferenzen (2003); he curated exhibitions such as the 1994 Minima Media at MedienBiennale Leipzig, coedited the Internet project mediaartnet.org, and since 2006 has been Director of the Ludwig Boltzmann Institute Media.Art.Research. in Linz, Austria.

  • Eyal Ben-Zwi People

    Eyal Ben-Zwi, born 1973 in Israel and raised in Brooklyn, is a Vienna-based video artist who has worked in video installation since 1997 and has served as lighting designer, multimedia developer, filmmaker, programmer, video engineer, temporary environment architect and installation artist; he is a member of the NYC audio visual collective Amoeba Technology and completed an artist-in-residence in Berlin in 2002 that culminated in a one-week audio/video/dance performance. In 2004 he participated with Amoeba Technology at an artist-in-residence at the ETC; since 2005 he has collaborated with Simone Carneiro on installations and content creation and in 2005 they completed a large-scale public-space mixed media installation funded by the city of Brasilia.

  • Anabela Zigova People

    Anabela Zigova (born 1974, Bratislava, Slovakia; http://www.anabelazigova.net) lives in New York and makes work that moved from body-related objects, performance and video toward cinematic structures informed by writing and socio-political research. Her feature-length project was shown as a work in progress at Columbia University in 2006 and as a solo show in Paris; she presented it at the Transgression Conference at John Jay College, is a visiting scholar in the Sociology Department at the City University of New York, and holds an MFA from l'Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Beaux Arts and an M.A. from the Academy of Music and Drama in Bratislava.

  • Necole Zayatz People

    Necole Zayatz is an interdisciplinary artist working in printmaking, painting and writing; she focuses on psychological dissemination through voice and video and has increasingly incorporated sensors into performance. She now works primarily in video and engages with performance and both verbal and non-verbal language. Her work has been shown at the European Media Arts Festival (Osnabruck, Germany) and the Friesland Media Arts Festival (Leeuwarden, The Netherlands); she is continuing graduate coursework in the Electronic Integrated Arts Program, NYSCC, at Alfred University.
