    Antoni Muntadas (born Barcelona, 1942) has lived and worked in New York since 1971; his practice examines social, political and communications issues and the relationship between public and private space through photography, video, publications, internet and installations. He studied in Barcelona and at the Pratt Graphic Center in New York and has taught seminars at institutions including UC San Diego and CAVS at MIT. He received grants and prizes from Guggenheim, Rockefeller and National Endowment for the Arts and has been commissioned and exhibited internationally, including Venice Biennale, Documenta Vl and X and MoMA.

    Antonio Muntadas, born in Barcelona in 1942, has resided in the United States since 1972; from 1977 to 1984 he was a research fellow at the MIT Center for Advanced Visual Studies, where he also taught. He received fellowships from the John Simon Guggenheim Memorial Foundation and the National Endowment for the Arts. His installation, photography, and video work has been shown internationally; he completed the installation Stadium in 1990.
