Antonio Muntadas

Muntadas was born in Barcelona in 1942 and has resided in the United States since 1972. From 1977 to 1984 he was a research fellow at the MIT Center for Advanced Visual Studies where he also taught. He has been the recipient of numerous awards including fellowships from the John Simon Guggenheim Memorial Foundation and the National Endowment for the Arts. His work in installation, photography, and video has been shown internationally. He completed the installation "Stadium" in 1990.
