Jacolby Satterwhite

Jacolby Satterwhite is a multimedia artist born in Columbia, South Carolina. He received his MFA from University of Pennsylvania, and BFA from Maryland Institute College of Art. He attended residencies at Skowhegan School for Painting and Sculpture, Harvestworks, and Center For Photography at Woodstock.

He's been included in numerous group exhibitions and performances including Exit Art, Rush Arts Gallery, The Kitchen, PS.1 MoMA, and The Smithsonian. He is a recent recipient of the Van Lier Gant, Experimental TV Center NYSCA Grant, and Toby Devan Lewis Award. http://jsatterwhite.tumblr.com/

    Mary Magsamen and Stephan Hillerbrand are multi-media artists, curators and new media activists who have collaborated for five years and been exhibited nationally and internationally. Hillerbrand has received National Endowment for the Arts and Art Matters grants; Magsamen has received the Longwood Cyber Residency; both hold Masters degrees from Cranbrook Academy of Art and were awarded the 2003 Lower Manhattan Cultural Centers Artist-in-Residence Workspace Program at the Woolworth Building for their collaborative project Das Angstbauen. Their artist statement cites fantasy, role-playing and self-portraiture and a stream-of-consciousness method using digital image acquisition and manipulation to create video work.

    Judson Wright is a visual artist and programmer who produced interactive and web-based artworks for over ten years; his practice integrates neurology, linguistics and child development with choreography, musical composition and illustration. His projects include the Shadow Casters collective at the Kitchen (New York), commissions and entries for cTheory and Rhizome ArtBase, the Animal Magnetism performances with Mabou Mines under circus tents in Poland and the Czech Republic, and repeated camera-tracking commissions for Philippa Kaye Company. He held residencies and fellowships at MacDowell, Yaddo, the Atlantic Center for the Arts and the Interactive Telecommunications Program at NYU; his work appears on CD-ROMs and in books and received support from the Rockefeller Foundation and the Lower Manhattan Cultural Council.
