Abstract

A description of Our Lady of Saturday Night, a videotape by Michael L. V. Butler. Our Lady of Saturday Night is a series of four video works thematically joined. They include: The prologue (1972-1973), Harriet Hune - A fragment from a novelette) (1973), Those Numbered Hearts (1973) and Adeleine in Ruins (Die Tunten) (1974). Michael received a production award from the New York State Council on the Arts in 1975-76 for Adeleine in Ruins. The video production took place at the Experimental Television Center
