  Rita Myers is a video artist who received fellowships and grants from the National Endowment for the Arts; the New York State Council on the Arts; the Massachusetts Council on the Arts and Humanities; and the Jerome Foundation. Her work has been exhibited internationally since the early 1970s.

  Phyllis Baldino is a conceptual artist working across performance, video, sculpture and installation; her low-tech videotapes document assembling, deconstructing and transforming found objects and typically stage ironic oppositions and gendered role-playing. Her works, often shot with a static camera and informed by scientific and philosophical principles, are frequently incorporated into installations, objects or projections. Born in 1956, she earned a B.F.A. from Hartford Art School; she has held solo shows in Cincinnati, New York and San Francisco and has been included in exhibitions at MoMA, the Guggenheim and major international venues; she has screened at the New York International Video Festival and the 1st Video Festival del Mediterraneo. She lives in New York.

• Barbara Kristaponis People

  Barbara Kristaponis worked in video for twenty years, producing her own work while writing grants and freelancing in lighting and production; she bartered lighting skills for one-inch edits and use of a Nagra. She traveled as camerawoman on two documentaries in Africa, organized women's video teaching and editing workshops, and directed a psychiatry?video unit for six years while lecturing on video and psychiatry in the U.S., Canada and Finland. Her work received partial foundation support including NYSCA and she was paid to experiment in Lake Placid 1973?1976 where she formed a workshop center.
