Stephan Apicella-Hitchcock

MFA, Rhode Island School of Design; BA, Hampshire College. Assistant Professor of Photography and Graphic Design at Fordham University, Stephan has also taught at School of Visual Arts, Harvestworks, Parsons School of Design and the School of Fine Arts in Boston. He has received awards from the Lower Manhattan Cultural Council, CEPA Gallery and Visual Studies Workshop.

He has recently exhibited work in White Hot, Found and Stolen Photography, Uprising at VideoSpace Gallery in Boston, and in the Short Attention Span Festival which toured throughout the US. Also at South Street Seaport Museum Arts and Letters Series, World Views AIR Program, Video Lounge, Rotunda Gallery, CEPA Gallery, Contemporary Museum of Baltimore, Longwood Arts Project, Whitney Museum, 31 Grand. His work has been published in CEPA Journal, and Artvoice.

  • Rebecca Dolan People

    Rebecca Dolan holds an MFA in Photography and Digital Imaging from Maryland Institute College of Art (1999) and a BFA from Colorado State University (1991); she is Assistant Professor in the Photography & New Media Department at Kansas City Art Institute. Her exhibitions include solo shows in Kansas City (2003 Field; 2004 White, working title) and screenings at the National Gallery Film Theatre (2002) and Goethe Institut (2001); her installations are multi-channel video works with dimensional sound, and her videography (1998–2001) includes collaborations with Patrick Wright. She maintains an ongoing online project at http://www.rebad.com/ and has received institutional awards including a 2002 Faculty Development Grant and a 1999 honorable mention at MICA.

  • Owen Shapiro People

    Owen Shapiro directs the Film Program in the College of Visual and Performing Arts at Syracuse University and founded the Syracuse International Film and Video Festival (SIFVF), serving as its artistic director with executive director Christine Fawcett Shapiro. He has led the program since 1973, designed the B.F.A. and M.F.A. curricula and film facilities in the Shaffer Art Building, and has made over 30 films and a dozen videos. His work received a 1976 retrospective at the Cinematheque Francaise in Paris and a 1987 Fulbright Fellowship to teach at Tel-Aviv University.

  • Kitty Hubbard People

    Kitty Hubbard holds a BA in studio art from Guilford College in Greensboro, NC, and an MFA in Visual Studies from SUNY Brockport; she serves as a professor in the Art Department at the State University of New York College at Brockport. She began as a photographer and expanded her practice to digital media, installations, artist books and sculpture. She has participated in over 65 exhibitions nationally and internationally and has received numerous grants, including Artist Project Grants funded by the NEA, The Rockefeller Foundation and The Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts.

  • Suzanne Goldenberg People

    Suzanne Goldenberg holds a BA from Mc Gill University and an MFA from Maryland Institute College of Art; she is presently working on the production and design for a quarterly online contemporary arts journal and at Harvestworks. Her exhibitions have included the Great Hall of Art (NY), Kibla Media Center (Slovenia), Gallery Remont (Yugoslovia), MaMa Media Center (Croatia), Jeleni Gallery (Czech Republic) and galleries in NY and Baltimore. She received a Gottleib Foundation Artist Grant (2003) and support from the Lower Manhattan Cultural Council (2003).
