Stephanie Gray

Filmmaker-poet Stephanie Gray's super 8 films have screened internationally, and for which she's received support from NYFA & NYSCA. Screenings include one-woman shows at the MIX Lesbian & Gay Experimental Film Fest monthly series, Millennium Film Workshop, Thaw, and others. Her work has shown at fests such as TIE, Ann Arbor, Oberhausen, Viennale, VIDEOEX, $100 Fest, Cinematexas, Outfest, Antimatter, Frameline, Chicago Underground, Inside Out, and Madcat.

Her film Dear Joan is distributed by Frameline. She has shown her city films live with poetry, including a featured show in the Poetry Project's late night Friday series. Her first poetry collection was published in 2007, Heart Stoner Bingo (Straw Gate Books.)
