Eugenia Lim

Eugenia works predominantly in video to explore issues of identity, race and culture.

She VJs regularly as part of Outpost (an affiliate of Share NY) and Uberlingua collectives and is a founding member of Tape Projects, an artist-run-initiative championing experimental audio-visual art in Melbourne, Australia.

    Igor Vamos is a multi-disciplinary artist from Albany, New York whose media performances reached international audiences through mainstream news; his 1994 project the Barbie Liberation Organization was reported in newspapers and on television worldwide, including The New York Times and Fohla de Sao Paolo.     Monica Duncan is an interdisciplinary print, video and performance artist and educator born and raised in Webster, New York; she received a BFA from Alfred University and served as assistant to the Director of the International Student Residency, a program of Alfred University and the Experimental Television Center. Exhibitions of the Evolutionary Girls Club were shown throughout Germany, Sweden and Finland and at the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts, Cornell University, Massachusetts College of Art and Rhode Island School of Design; she collaborated with Lara Odell on Antibodies, a video/performance project exploring color theory in a social context. In collaboration with Annie Langan she co-founded a Print/Video Residency program in Louisville, Kentucky; website listed at http://www.artselectronic.com.

  • Branda Miller People

    Branda Miller is a video artist, educator and media activist who teaches at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute as Associate Professor in Video Art and Media Literacy and co-founded The Sanctuary for Independent Media in Troy, NY. Her media works have screened and been broadcast internationally and have been used in community organizing and education; she received grants from the New York State Council on the Arts, the NEA, the Andy Warhol Foundation and others. She authored the interactive project Witness to the Future (CD-ROM, Voyager), which combined a video documentary, Silent Spring by Rachael Carson, over 500 up-datable website links and curricula.

  • Melinda Rackham People

    Melinda Rackham is an artist and writer based in Sydney, Australia; she has worked online since the mid 1990s from the domain www.subtle.net, creating imaginal and hypertextual sites that explore online identity, locality, sexuality, community, viral symbiosis and trans species relations. She is undertaking a Phd in Virtual Media at College of Fine Arts, University of New South Wales; her writing has appeared in Ctheory, Culture Machine, Leonardo and Realtime, and she has presented at Contagion (Australia), Invencao (Brazil) and Consciousness Reframed (Wales). She has held residencies at Polar Circuit (Finland) and Discovery at Banff Center for the Arts (Canada); her award-winning web works have been included in Beyond Interface, Arco Electronico, Perspecta, Transmediale, File, Art Entertainment Network, The Montreal Biennale, European Media Art Festival and ISEA.
