Jenny Hyde

Jenny Hyde is a new media artist from both the west coast and the east coast of the United States. She received her BFA from Cornish College of the Arts in Seattle, WA in 1998 and her MFA from Alfred University in Alfred, New York in 2006. Her work explores questions about physical experiences, environment and the things we have or don't have control over.

She uses video, digital cameras, scanners to create digital constructions that manifest many forms: prints on paper, video installation, projection and sound. She currently lives and works in Brooklyn, New York. www.jennyhyde.com

    Kitty Hubbard holds a BA in studio art from Guilford College in Greensboro, NC, and an MFA in Visual Studies from SUNY Brockport; she serves as a professor in the Art Department at the State University of New York College at Brockport. She began as a photographer and expanded her practice to digital media, installations, artist books and sculpture. She has participated in over 65 exhibitions nationally and internationally and has received numerous grants, including Artist Project Grants funded by the NEA, The Rockefeller Foundation and The Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts.

    Will Pappenheimer is an artist living and working in Brooklyn, NY; since 2004 he has been Assistant Professor of Digital Media at Pace University, New York, NY.     Jennifer and Kevin McCoy are New York new media artists who use technology to fragment, store, and analyze audio and video; their work includes installations, performances, and net art, and they hold MFA degrees from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. They have exhibited at New York institutions such as P.S.1 and The New Museum and produced commissioned net projects for the Walker Art Center and the Whitney; they have presented internationally including ISEA Manchester.   • Heather Bursch People

    Heather Bursch is an artist living and working in Brooklyn, New York; she received a BFA from the San Francisco Art Institute in 1996 and an MFA from California Institute of the Arts in 2008. In 2009 she attended Skowhegan and was awarded a MacDowell fellowship; she was a Whitney Independent Study Program fellow in 2011; her video and installation work explores specific cultural narratives in contemporary American media.

  • Jenny Perlin People

    Jenny Perlin studied film and cultural studies at Brown University, earned an MFA in Film at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and completed postgraduate study at the Whitney Independent Study Program in New York City; her films work with and against documentary traditions to examine truth, misunderstanding and personal history. She completed View from Elsewhere, on conditions of political asylum seekers in Switzerland, and Perseverance & How to Develop It, on the cultural and social histories of self-help in the United States; Perseverance received support from the New York State Council on the Arts and the Experimental Television Center's Finishing Funds, and her films have screened and been exhibited internationally; website www.nilrep.net.
