Jennifer Schmidt

Jennifer Schmidt (b. 1975, Bedford, Indiana) is a multi-media artist living in Brooklyn, NY and Boston, MA, who often works with printed media and graphic design to create sculptural installations, video, and screenprinted ephemera. She received her Master of Fine Arts degree from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago in 1999 and Bachelor of Arts degrees in Studio Art and Art History from the University of Delaware in 1997; and is faculty within the Print and Paper Area and Graduate Program at the School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston.   • Jenny Hyde People

    Jenny Hyde is a new media artist from the west and east coasts of the United States; she received a BFA from Cornish College of the Arts (Seattle, WA) in 1998 and an MFA from Alfred University (Alfred, New York) in 2006. Her work addresses physical experience, environment and questions of control; she uses video, digital cameras and scanners to produce digital constructions presented as prints on paper, video installation, projection and sound.   • Suzanne Goldenberg People

    Suzanne Goldenberg holds a BA from Mc Gill University and an MFA from Maryland Institute College of Art; she is presently working on the production and design for a quarterly online contemporary arts journal and at Harvestworks. Her exhibitions have included the Great Hall of Art (NY), Kibla Media Center (Slovenia), Gallery Remont (Yugoslovia), MaMa Media Center (Croatia), Jeleni Gallery (Czech Republic) and galleries in NY and Baltimore. She received a Gottleib Foundation Artist Grant (2003) and support from the Lower Manhattan Cultural Council (2003).

    Kristine Marx holds a BA from Sarah Lawrence College and an MFA from Hunter College; she has served as lecturer at the Whitney Museum of American Art and at the Hudson River Museum and has curated shows for several galleries in Manhattan. Her work has been exhibited at Plane Space, NY and in group exhibitions in New York, Los Angeles, Canada and Germany. She has received awards from the Bronx Museum of Art, the Arts Project of Japan and Hunter College, including Schloss Plueschow (Germany), AIM at the Bronx Museum (NY) and the William Graf Travel Scholarship (Hunter College); she worked in the Residency Program at the Experimental Television Center and lists www.kristinemarx.net.

  • Adrienne Jenik People

    Adriene Jenik is a telecommunications media artist, teacher and engineer with a BA from Douglass College (Rutgers) and an MFA in Electronic Arts from Rensselaer; she worked on Disney Online's Blast Jr. and has taught at CalArts, UC Irvine, USC and UCLA. Her work spans early community media with Paper Tiger TV and Deep Dish TV (1985-1990), performances with Snakes & Ladders, video and live-satellite pieces including What's the Difference Between a Yam & a Sweet Potato? and EL NAFTAZTECA, and the MAUVE DESERT CD-ROM translation of Nicole Brossard's Le Désert mauve. She served as Art Director on the CAL-IT2/HP ActiveCampus project, founded the Smokey Johnson Memorial Center for residencies in the Mojave Desert, and received a 1997 Rockefeller Foundation Fellowship in New Media and a 2001 Franklin Furnace commission.
