Sarah Drury, MA,MPS is an Assistant Professor in New Media at Temple University's Film & Media Arts Program. Drury is a Video and New Media Artist working with Interactive Video Song and lyrical narrative in a variety of forms from installation/performance to linear video to artist's book. She received her MPS at the Interactive Telecommunications Program at New York University and her MA in Photography at the International Center of Photography in New York City. She has taught New Media at New York University and worked professionally on web and CD-rom projects as a multimedia designer and producer. Drury has led experimental workshops in Online Distance Performance using Internet2, exploring themes of presence and absence in networked video. She has received numerous grants including an Artists Fellowship Grant from the National Endowment for the Arts and residencies at the Banff Center for the Arts and the Experimental Television Center in Owego, NY. Her work has been exhibited at such venues as the Brooklyn Museum, the Kitchen, the Galerie Arts et Empreintes in Paris, and the Pulse Art Gallery in New York City. www.sarahdrury.net.
