  • Frank Shifreen People

    Frank Shifreen is affiliated with Columbia University and Adelphi University; he has recent exhibitions at Scott Pfaffman Gallery, TNC Gallery and Open Space Gallery. He curated shows for NextMuseum (Detroit), TNC Gallery (NY) and Open Space Gallery (PA) and performed web development for Shamansdream, Hereincyberspace and The digitalmuseum. He is associated with Alan Moore, a founder of CoLab and the MWF Video CLub; he curated Art Against War for New York Arts Space, Macy Gallery at Columbia University and for three websites: drinkink.org, edigitalmuseum.org and http://www.retiform.ath.cx.

  • Julius Vitali People

    Julius Vitali is Executive Director of Open Space Gallery in Allentown and a printmaker and interdisciplinary performing and visual artist who has worked with Hempstead Harbor Gallery (Glen Cove) and August House (Easton); he co-curated the traveling exhibition Pioneers of Digital Photography and authored the 2003 revised edition of The Fine Artist's Guide to Marketing & Self-Promotion (Allworth Press, NYC). He received awards from the Pennsylvania Council on the Arts, the Adolph and Esther Gottlieb Foundation and a National Endowment for the Arts commission with Painted Bride Art Center; his work has been exhibited at Muse Gallery (Philadelphia), Sea Cliff Gallery and the Franklin Institute and is held in collections including the Bibliothèque Nationale (Paris) and Polaroid Corporation.

  • Stephan Apicella-Hitchcock People

    Stephan Apicella-Hitchcock holds an MFA from Rhode Island School of Design and a BA from Hampshire College; he is Assistant Professor of Photography and Graphic Design at Fordham University and has taught at School of Visual Arts, Parsons and the School of Fine Arts in Boston. He has received awards from the Lower Manhattan Cultural Council, CEPA Gallery and Visual Studies Workshop. His work has been exhibited in White Hot, Uprising at VideoSpace Gallery, the Short Attention Span Festival and venues including CEPA Gallery, the Contemporary Museum of Baltimore and the Whitney Museum; it has been published in CEPA Journal and Artvoice.

  • Art V Chronology

    One-day symposium titled Art V on video in Buffalo held at the Albright Knox Art Gallery; program provided viewing of works and a panel featuring Lyn Blumenthal, Kate Horsfield, Simone Forti, Hermine Freed, Gerald O'Grady and William Wegman. The event was co-sponsored by the Albright-Knox and Hallwalls; tape catalogs were available from Portable Channel and one assembled by the Museum including many upstate regional makers.

  • Lynn Cazabon People

    Lynn Cazabon holds a BFA from the University of Michigan and an MFA from Cranbrook Academy; she has held solo exhibitions at Ganser Art Gallery, Bucknell Art Gallery, CEPA Gallery, and the University of Dayton. She received awards from the Pennsylvania Council on the Arts and Mid America Arts Alliance and completed residencies at Bucknell Art Gallery, Snowmass Village, and the Glassell School of Art at the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston; her work is in the collection of the Mattress Factory Museum.
