Deirtra Thompson

Deirtra Thompson is a New York and Baltimore-based artist who works with film, video, and sculpture. Using both linear and experimental narrative forms, Thompson creates fictional environments that mirror and mutate real world structures in order to explore the relationships between language, labor, and systems of authority. Thompson was a 2008-2009 Princess Grace Foundation award winner.
