  • Jay Wright People

    Jay Wright's work was exhibited and collected internationally between the 1990s and 2004, appearing in venues and festivals in Guadalajara, Sao Paulo, Mexico City, the Canary Islands, Turin, Barcelona, New York, Toronto, Montreal and San Jose; film festival screenings included Sao Paulo, Montevideo, San Francisco, Asolo, Berkeley, Paris, Girona, New York, Rome, Tokyo, Salerno, Calcutta and London. Awards include the Grand Festival Award — Avant-Garde Film at the Berkeley Film and Video Festival (2000, 2001), Most Original Film Award at the Rome Independent Film Festival (2001), a Guggenheim nomination (1999) and two educational awards from the San Francisco Art Institute (1993). Invitations include the Piercelona, Florence Biennial (2004), a 2004 MoCC grant submission in Barcelona, and festival invitations for The Color of Fish to Sydney (2002) and Santa Cruz (2003).

  • Luis Recoder People

    Sandra Gibson and Luis Recoder have shown collaborative film installations and performances since 2001; they have presented work at film festivals, museums, galleries and alternative venues. Representative venues listed include the Whitney Museum of American Art and The Kitchen (NYC), Images Festival (Toronto, Canada), International Film Festival Rotterdam (The Netherlands), Hartware Medien Kunst Verein (Dortmund, Germany), La Casa Encendida (Madrid, Spain), Museo do Chiado (Lisbon, Portugal), Dundee Contemporary Arts (Dundee, Scotland), Youkobo Art Space (Tokyo, Japan) and Image Forum Festival (Yokohama & Kanazawa, Japan).

  • Jennifer Hamilton People

    Jennifer Hamilton holds an MFA from Concordia University and is presently teaching in the Department of Visual Arts at the University of Regina; she received awards from the Canada Council and Concordia University and participated in residencies at the Banff Center. Her work has been exhibited at Harborfront (Toronto), Neutral Ground Artists Run Center (Canada), Loggia Gallery (Toronto) and the Science Museum (London).
