Jinhan Ko

Jinhan received his Bachelor of Fine Arts from the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design in 1993 and has since exhibited his work in DYS- a group show at YYZ in 1995, the Red Head Gallery showcase, 1995, and at the Pleasure Dome - Open Screening at CineCycle, 1995. Recent exhibitions include the Art Gallery of Ontario, el convento rico, Art Metropole, Sculpture Center, Dallas International Film Festival, and Media City.

Jinhan Ko is a follower and the sole member of Jin's Banana House and a partner in Instant Coffee.

    Steve Reinke was born in 1963 and received an MFA from Nova Scotia College of Art and Design in 1993; his work has been screened at the Museum of Modern Art, New York (1996), the Art Gallery of Ontario (1996) and at many international venues. He has curated The George Kuchar Experience and XYZ/Pleasure Dome and co-edited By the Skin of the Tongue: Artist Video Scripts; he has received support from the Canada Council and the Toronto Arts Council. His work is distributed by V Tape and Videographe.

  • Jecca People

    Artist with an MFA in photography (Rhode Island School of Design, 2003) and a BA in sculpture (Brown University); recipient of the Roberta Joslin award and based in New York City after periods in Tokyo and Paris (1993–2001). Photography, video and mixed-media installations have been shown internationally, including LOOP (Barcelona) and the 51st Venice Biennale; work also appeared in curated exhibitions in the United States. Residencies include Yaddo, the Experimental Television Center and the Cité Internationale des Arts; in Paris the artist grew 300 trees from seeds of a historic European Beech and created an early five-language collaborative website, exchanging trees with over 230 people; work is held in US and European collections.

  • Suzanne Goldenberg People

    Suzanne Goldenberg holds a BA from Mc Gill University and an MFA from Maryland Institute College of Art; she is presently working on the production and design for a quarterly online contemporary arts journal and at Harvestworks. Her exhibitions have included the Great Hall of Art (NY), Kibla Media Center (Slovenia), Gallery Remont (Yugoslovia), MaMa Media Center (Croatia), Jeleni Gallery (Czech Republic) and galleries in NY and Baltimore. She received a Gottleib Foundation Artist Grant (2003) and support from the Lower Manhattan Cultural Council (2003).

  • Yury Gitman People

    Yury Gitman is a designer, inventor and award-winning artist who exhibited internationally, including in Perth, Paris, Austria and New York. He deployed Magicbikes wireless bicycle hotspots to access the Internet inside the New York subway and won the Ars Electronica Golden Nica for Net Vision in 2003; in 2005 he opened Banana Design Lab. He worked with NYCWireless and local cultural organizations to promote open Internet policy; he taught in the Design Technology MFA program at Parsons and holds degrees from New York University's Interactive Telecommunication Program and Georgia Tech; his work has been featured in BBC, New York Times, Newsweek and NPR.

  • Kevin Cooley People

    Kevin Cooley is a photography and video-based artist with an MFA from the School of Visual Arts who lives and works in Brooklyn. He has exhibited in New York and internationally, including two solo shows at Massimo Audiello and group shows at Caren Golden Fine Art and Wallspace Gallery. He has participated in residencies with Lower Manhattan Cultural Council and La Cité des Arts and will travel this fall to Svalbard for the Arctic Circle Residency. His work is held by the Swartz Art Collection and the Guggenheim; solo show Los Angeles January 2011.
