Simone Carneiro

Simone Carneiro, born in 1978, is an Austro-Brazilian mixed media artist based in Vienna. Having studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna, she mixes various mediums and processes ranging from paintings and collages to audio/video performances and installations. She has been creating computer animations since 1998 and has been working both artistically and professionally with film and video since 2002.

She has already been at the ETC as guest together with the NY based audio visual collective Amoeba Technology in 2004 and was able to use and experiment with the equipment available there. Most recently she is also creating music.
