Philippines-born, New York City-based Video Artist, Live Visualist (VJ), Musician - a.k.a. Lady Firefly. Video Editor / Artist at Blue Man Group, with works appearing in Blue Man Group shows and collaborations such as the How To Be A Megastar Tour, DJ Tiesto's Elements of Life Tour, and on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno. Performing VJ and award-winning video artist working throughout various venues, events, and festivals in New York City and internationally.
Highlights include performances at the American Museum of Natural History, NYC, the Director's Guild Theatre, Los Angeles, Apositsia Festival, St. Petersburg. Creates live video performance compositions, pre-composed/edited video artworks, improvised solo and collaborative sets, multi-channel live-performance installations, and long form free VJ mixes. Support for work has been received from NYC Department of Cultural Affairs, Experimental Television Center, New York University, Chashama, and Knitting Factory.
Former Development Director at Forward Motion Theater and former Resident VJ at Nublu, NYC. Performs live video sets with various music groups and DJs including Animal Collective, Oakley Hall, Karina Zeviani, Hari Honzu, The Equation, Shitty Shitty Jam Band, Luis Maurette, Lulacruza, Zemi17, Diane Cluck, Dok, Miguel Mendez, Mark Clive-de Lowe, Smitty, Paul Amitai, Alexei Pliousnine, Daniel Carter, DJs ActivePhaze, Superpitcher, Josh Wink, Harddedge, Olive, and many more. Former visualist with musician Tonearm.
Collaborates with other multimedia artists from Amoeba Technology, Share, Group 2012 (Russia), Forward Motion Theater, MadFlat, Sea Peoples, APosition Creative Union (Russia). Founder of artistic collectives Firefly Lab, and Amateur; member of filmmaking group Keyhole Collective. Vocalist/ lyricist with music group Sola (2007-present).
