Randi Cecchine

A native of suburban Philadelphia, Randi completed a BA in film, photography and media studies at Hampshire College in 1994 and earned an MFA in Media Arts Production at the City College of New York in 2000. Since 1994 she has lived in New York City making photographs and videos and teaching media to youth and adults. She has worked with organizations such as Paper Tiger Television, Deep Dish Television, SOS Haiti, Global Action Project, and various arts organizations.

    Pamela Susan Hawkins is an artist whose time based works have been shown at the European Media Arts Festival (Osnabr¸ck, Germany), WRO 97 (Wroclaw, Poland), Art in General (New York city), Mobius (Boston) and the National Poetry Video Festival (Chicago); she recently toured central Europe. Her 15 year practice encompasses video, audio, digital, printmaking and photography; she holds a BFA in Printmaking from Rochester Institute of Technology and an MAH in Media Study and Fine Art Photography from the University at Buffalo. She held residencies at the Experimental Television Center and NOTAM (Oslo), currently teaches at N.Y.S.C.C., and founded and co-instructs the Experimental Television Center's International Student Residency.

    Don Bernier has worked in experimental and documentary media since the early 1990s; he earned a BFA at Kansas City Art Institute and a graduate degree in Media Study from SUNY-Buffalo (1994). From 1994 to 2001 he taught media production and theory in western New York, the San Francisco Bay Area and Boston and produced work exhibited across North America; in late 2001 he relocated to New York City to focus on documentary production, worked with PBS filmmakers Stephen Ives and David Grubin and completed projects screened at film and video festivals nationwide.

    Cynthia Lovett received an MPS from the Tisch School of the Arts - Interactive Telecommunications Program at New York University (2001) and an MFA from Tyler School of Art in Philadelphia (1996); she participated in residencies including the PS1 International Studio Program and the Harvestworks New Works Residency (1998). She has exhibited video and installation works at The Sculpture Center, Brooklyn Museum of Art, Momenta Art (Brooklyn), and the Galleries at Moore College of Art in Philadelphia; she was a Lower Manhattan Cultural Council Swing Space Artist and an artist in residence at the Rotunda Gallery/BCAT Multimedia Residency (2005-06) and the Experimental Television Center (2006).     Margot Starr Kernan, born in Cambridge, Mass., USA, 1927, was educated at Bennington College and San Francisco State University (M.A.); her video work was exhibited at EZTV Gallery, Los Angeles; Chicago Women’s Film Festival; Artist’s Space, New York City; Washington Project For The Arts; BANFF Centre, Canada; and Open Channel, Melbourne, Australia. She worked in the Residency Program at the Experimental Television Center.
