1992 Finishing Funds Chronology
Finishing Funds is a grants program of the Experimental Television Center supported by the New York State Council on the Arts; awards for 1992 were made to a range of individual artists and collaborative teams for named works. Recipients listed include Karim Ainouz (Seams), Basha Alperin (Children in Junkanoo), Robert Attanasio (Whitewash USA), Ellen Braune and Nina Alverez (Crossing Boundaries), Kevin O'Shaughnessy (Allegheny County: The First Stand) and Carlos Ortiz (Spirit of Survival: AIDS in the Prisons). The award panel included Larry Gottheim, Chris Hill and Pam Jennings.

Due to New York State Council on the Arts (NYSCA) budget reductions, the Individual Artists Program begins alternate-year funding for film and media production grants. NYSCA's overall budget was reduced by 5.9 million; the Electronic Media and Film Program budget was reduced by $353,000 and Individual Artist Grants were reduced by $296,000.
