http://www.tobaron.com Tobaron Waxman is an interdiscliplnary time based artist, specialising in performance and digital media. He recently completed an MFA at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, where he also taught Voice in the Performance department. He received a BA from University of Toronto. He served as intern at Video Machete (Chicago), at the Art Institute, with Women in the Director's Chair and Chicago Filmmakers. He was curator at the Ontario College of Art and Design, and has also served as production assistant and gallery assistant.An avid student of Jewish liturgical music, he has been a cantorial soloist on Yom Kippur for the Canadian Council of Reform Judaism and at Kolel in Toronto. He has performed in Chicago at Links Hall and Gallery2; in Toronto at Buddies in Bad Times Theatre,The Lab, Cinecycle, and The Music Gallery. He has shown installation in Toronto at the Liason of Independent Filmmakers of Toronto (LIFT), Zsa Zsa, and the OCAD Atrium Gallery; and in San Francisco at The Center and The Lab.
